Join the Nashville Early Education Coalition for a screening of the documentary Starting at Zero. After the film, there will be a panel discussion with documentary director, Willa Kammerer, Alabama House Representative, Jeana Ross, and local leaders. Light refreshments will be provided.

Bringing together the voices of policymakers, educators, academics, business leaders, pediatricians, parents, and children, Starting at Zero examines the latest developmental brain science to demonstrate how essential the earliest years of learning are to maximize human potential.

With data from 12 community-based providers, it outlines the persistent gap between the cost of quality care and the revenue these centers can generate, as well as the challenges of recruiting and retaining early educators.
