This white paper, produced in partnership with United Way of Greater Nashville's Raising Readers Nashville and Elevate Consulting, takes a data-informed look at how recent childcare stabilization efforts impacted centers serving low-income families across Davidson County. Drawing on monthly data from 12 community-based centers, it highlights the stark financial realities facing early educators and the urgent need for sustained public investment. The findings underscore that without creative, long-term, braided funding solutions, Nashville risks losing vital childcare capacity just when families and the local economy need it most.
